This typical Renaissance style Château was part of Chenonceau Castle Yield, which stands only two miles away. It was frequently used by Kings François the 1st and Henri II as hunting and pleasure lodge, when visiting their beloved royal mistress Diane de Poitiers.
The surrounding vineyard stretches over more than eleven hectares of controlled origin soils.
2 en-suite double bedrooms, with two separate stairs : the first with a kingsize bed (1,60m) and bathroom, the other with two beds (0,80m) and bathroom in the tower. A small room for children sharing bathroom.
In the very close side-house, 1 double bedroom with a kingsize bed (1,60m) and bathroom.
All rooms have view on the park.
Table d'hôtes on reservation. Private Henri Pinta painter museum. Pool 10mx5m.
Wine-tasting and winery visit.
Ideally located for visiting the Châteaux de la Loire : Chenonceau, Chambord, Cheverny, Amboise, Villandry, Loches,Azay-le-Rideau, CLos Lucé... are all reachable in less than 40 min.
