East-facing, the sunrise will gently wake you. The dining room was an old "chai" where Armagnac used to be distilled and stored (here we don’t use the term cellar). We serve a traditional french breakfast with home-made jams and pastries. We also offer dinner, if you wish, with local specialties and family recipes, served, of course, with local wines. Our region, Bas Armagnac, is situated in the north-east corner of the Gers. You can enjoy many walks and visits around. We will give you our best information and addresses to make your stay in Gascony a success!

Read more... château is situated on a peaceful hillside in the Adour Valley. Château de Lahitte was built in the 18 th century for the then owner. It has recently been lovingly restored by the present owners and today the house is surrounded by lush parkland and gardens. In one of the restored outbuildings a sauna has been installed with showers and a rest room. Situated in the gardens there is also an outdoor swimming pool, both of which are for the use of guests. On a bright day the summits of the Pyrenees are clearly visible from the garden of the Château. The guest rooms on the first and second floors offer comfortable light and airy accommodation, each room has an ensuite bathroom with wc. Breakfast is either served in the dining room, or in the garden under the canopy (a type of Open Summer House). The Chateau is 40 km from Pau.
