At our 'mas', sitting between the Med and the Pyrenees, you are assured of complete peace and quiet, surrounded by magnificent countryside. We offer a large (11x5m) swimming pool and a jacuzzi (for 8); a barbecue area for our guests; 'tables d'hôtes' if you want it - all with unobstructed views of the Mediterranean and the Canigou mountains. A varied breakfast (with homemade bread, preserves etc) on a terrace, starts your day.
Our 5 guest bedrooms are all air-conditioned - 3 doubles with TV, free Wi-Fi, tea/coffee; 2 for children. You share our home with 3 cats, 3 tortoises and 7 goldfish (at the last count).
Our corner of 'the midi' offers more sunny days than elsewhere in France: visit the seaside; drive, bike or hike in the mountains; see museums, Cathare castles, old churches... Spain's Costa Brava is close by. Swim, scuba, or play with the kids on the beach. Eat and drink. Our book of places to visit and things to do and see will keep you occupied for weeks - we're open all year.

View all photos Last traveler reviews : We spent a wonderfully relaxing 2 weeks at mas al chibille. Martin and Martine were excellent hosts and Martine prepared a fantastic paella for us on our first night. The setting is beautiful and very peaceful. We had no real need to venture out as we were looked after so well, but we did go to the local restaurant run by the lovely Georges. Our children(2,6)loved the pool and especially the jacuzzi.
