Situated 19B Thiers street to Caumont l'Eventé 14240, a small municipality of the Calvados in Basse-Normandie, Le Relais du Mont Chauve proposes you a quality accommodation in guest houses.
To the south of Bayeux, near the A84, on the D9, Caumont l'Eventé is located on a hill without, until the Middle Age, any dwelling, windswept and covered by moors, hence the name, 'Le Mont Chauve'. Small town on the edge of the Bocage and Bessin, 250m above sea level, it offers breathtaking views across the surrounding countryside.
In a property of the beginning of the XVIIIth century having kept all its charm and its authenticity, you will be warmly received by Florence Perrot in a well-kept and refined frame.
Music lounges with choice of instruments will allow you to relax before having a Norman meal served to you in any user-friendliness.
You can get back in the cosy comfort of your room and take advantage of a decoration of another time.

View all photos Last traveler reviews : "Wonderful b&b, delightful hostess" My husband and I, along with my sister and my granddaughter, spent 4 lovely nights in this delightful b&b. Florence Perrot was a superb hostess, friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were delicious, always something freshly baked; we also ate 2 dinners there. These were also very special, featuring fresh local foods and wine. For those interested in WWII history and can understand french, Florence's mother, Mme Perrot, is eager to talk about the life of the people here in the 1940s.
