LA MARE ELAN (periers en auge) : Homepage bed and breakfast

Patricia Vandenberg et Lionel Ovadia will be very happy to receive you in their very nice and comfortable rooms of " Le domaine de La Mare Elan" at 3 kms of the famous sandy beaches of Normandy (Cabourg and Houlgate)...18 kms from Deauville, 27kms from Honfleur. This property build at the end of the XVIIIth century had her own cider press who was used to make the famous norman cider and calvados . In 1970 ,the owner stopped his distillery activity and began to breed elks ( in French : élan ) coming from Canada…The elks were living on that land and used to drink in the 3 dew ponds ( in French : mares ) of the property. That's why this place is called “ La Mare Elan”. These rooms are in a very nice old house ( cider-press of the XVIIIth century) completely restored for a maximum of comfort and quietness. We are in a big property of 50.000 M2 with company animals : donkeys and lamas. We offer large breakfast, Jacuzzi, tennis and bicycles for the whole family. Possibility of boat fishing.
