Set in a magnificent mansion of the 16th century and was once owned by Héricart de Thury ,which was celebrated the wedding of Jean de La Fontaine in 1647, l'Ile aux peintres is located in the Valois at La Ferté Milon (80 km north-east of Paris). Completely renovated recently, you will be amazed by the charm of this house. You can enjoy its park along the Ourcq, its lounges and its 5 rooms each decorated in the style of a famous painter. You will be welcomed by Claude Bonnefon and Viviane, who will be pleased to help you discover their place ,where many painting workshops are organized.
