In the heart of the region of Touraine, in between the rivers Loire and Cher (the Vallée de la Loire),“ Les Grandes Vignes” is located within a park 5,5 ha large, closed by old external walls (XVII century). Less than 1 mile away, you can find the small village of Pontlevoy, with its Abbey. This state was the abbey's wineyard. In the ancient wine making facility (XVIII century) , which has been completely restored (respecting the prevailing architecture), the landlords have implemented a guesthouse, « Le Pressoir », with all the comfort needed for « de luxe guests ». In 2006, 1 hectare wineyard - sauvignon rose - was planted between the walls and the first harvest will be in 2008 or 2009. We offer you two appartements, two suits and a family suit, all with private bathroom and XIX century furniture. The landlord is also winemaker (wineyard at Oisly - sauvignon), and you will be able to taste our wine in the ancient grape pressing room, where you will take your breakfast.
