CHÂTEAU DE LA RIVIÈRE

Wonderful castle from 16th century renovated by Viollet-Le-Duc and wine-estate from the FRONSAC appellation overhanging the Dordogne valley. This chateau invites you to enter the world of refinment and charm. The Renaissance wing shelters 5 luxury bed & breakfast entirely renovated last year. Two rooms communicate with one another and offer the possibility of a suite. Each room has its private bathroom (shower or bath, toilets, hair-dryer, towel-dryer, bathrobes and towels provided), phone and television. Our guests can have breakfast in the former kitchen of the chateau or on the terrace overhanging the vineyards. They can relax in the tisanerie is (refreshing drinks available) or near our south-exposed swimming-pool. Activities at the château: tours of the 8 hectares of underground cellars, wine-tasting, tennis, swimming-pool, hiking or cycling. Several restaurants are nearby.
